Every penny earned from my music goes to my children. Guaranteed!

Pic of the kids

Chaya (left) and Ayesha (right)

These are my two children, Ayesha and Chaya. Ayesha has congenital glaucoma, which means she has been severely visually impaired since birth. The increased pressures in her eyes cause them to cloud over, which is why her eyes appear blue/grey in the picture - they are actually brown.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you asking for donations?

To help save for their future, I decided to dedicate any money that I earn from my music entirely to them. However, in the big wide world of the music industry, I'm just a nobody - so instead, I offer my music for free and simply ask that if people like the music then perhaps they would like to make a donation in return! A bit like tipping someone for good service!

Why should I donate anything?

You don't have to - the music is completely free for you to download. Donating is purely voluntary and entirely at your own discretion. Consider it to be like a "tip". You can choose to whether to leave a tip or not.

How do I know that 100% goes to the children?

All donations are processed by PayPal. This provides an "audit trail" of any moneys paid that can be correlated with the bank accounts for my children. To avoid the fees incurred when moving money from the PayPal account to a bank account, any donations will be left to accumulate within the PayPal account until the fee threshold is exceeded (thereby making the withdrawl free). I categorically guarantee that 100% of the profits from all donations will go entirely to the children (i.e. the balance after any PayPal transaction fees are deducted). This guarantee is available in writing, on request. In special cases where the donation amount is significant and/or at the request of legal or financial authorities, I will be happy to provide cross-referenced accounts to verify this guarantee.

How much should I donate?

The amount you choose to donate is entirely up to you. A suggested donation would be GBP £1.00 (approximately US$2.00 at current exchange rates). However you can donate less or more - whatever you think the music deserves!

Do I get anything out of donating?

Well, in the first instance I hope you will get a warm, fuzzy feeling from doing a kindness. However, in case that wears off quickly, I will be giving everyone who donates a free, exclusive copy of the next tracks that I write for this collection (these won't be freely available from the web site - only folks who donate will get these). Of course, if you don't like the music, this won't be much of a benefit anyway - but then if you don't like the music, I wouldn't want you to donate anything!

Where can I find out more about glaucoma?

There are quite a lot of good resources and help available online for general information. If you are a parent of a child with glaucoma and would like to chat with me, please do get in touch.

Thanks a lot for reading and I really do hope you enjoy the music! :)

Cheers, Jimmo.
